Create your first site
Everything on the platform lives inside a site — pages, data and media. This guide walks you from an empty workspace to a ready-to-build site in about six minutes.
Before you begin
Make sure you can log in and see the dashboard overview. If you just registered, your first workspace was created automatically — its subdomain is shown in the sidebar.
Create the site
- Open the Sites page. Click Sites in the sidebar, then Create site. Draft sites are always free — publishing may require additional fees*.
- Name your site. Pick something you will recognise in lists, for example
Cafe Landing Page. You can rename it later without affecting the URL. - Choose a slug. The slug becomes your site's web address:
yourname.example.com/your-slug. Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only. Choose carefully — changing it later* may require additional fees. - Confirm. Your site appears immediately as a draft. Click its name to open the site detail page — the control centre you will use for everything else.
Tip: the slug is the only part you should think twice about. Everything else — pages, data, media — can be changed freely.
The site detail page
The site detail page groups everything by task. Here is the 20-second map:
| Area | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Pages | Create and edit the pages of your site |
| Collections | Structured data: products, bookings, form entries |
| Media | Images and files your pages reference |
| Plan | Hosting tier, limits and the publish price* |
